Advanced Computer Networks and Security

Course Abstract

The major objective of this course is to let students have an advanced understanding about the internetwork design, operation and administration. Configuration and Performance issues of Bridges, Switches, Routers and Firewalls, as well as internetwork security management are emphasized. Lab sessions includes hands-on Router Simulation and TCP/IP programming using Windows sockets (Winsocks).
